Albertans, well maybe Western Canadians in general think nothing of driving long distances. “Lets go up to Edmonton!” (a 600 km round trip, for a day or two) is commonly heard around Calgary, especially during winter. Chase Gardiner is no exception, for his section in the video he traveled from Coast to Coast of our great land and down south too.
I guestimate he travelled 18, 000+ km’s by car filming along the way. I was juiced to edit a section with clips from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland, Ontario, New York and Philadelphia, etc. Needless to say he got around, now hes in Honduras doing lord knows what . Carson Michaud joined him on several of these trips and captured some photos, here’s a few:

This Sunday on the way back from Edmonton, we (Matt, Jon, Chase, Carson, and Jesse) decided to check out the newish skatepark in Ponoka. It is surprisingly good for a small town, better than most parks in the Calgary area, and the town had some pretty ill street spots too.

This past Wednesday we were graced with the prescence of Shop-Task’s Task Around Tour, guest apperances were made by Leon, Eli, Todd, and the now imfamous Jimmy Key. We had well over 30 bladers in the park including new Alberta residents Mike Vigneux and Darren Potts, welcome.
